Inauguration of the new research wing of SSBS was done at the hands of Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Hon’ble Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) SIU, Pune. Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar was accompanied by Hon'ble Pro Chancellor Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, SIU and Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajani Gupte, SIU. This ceremony was also attended by Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, SIU and Dr. Surendra Ghaskadbi, CSIR-Emeritus Scientist, Developmental Biology, Agharkar Research Institute, Pune.
